Description	:	Elizabeth Zeller was the second daughter and third child of Andrew Zeller and Catharine Forrer. Elizabeth was born in Berks County, Pennsylvania. Her siblings were: Catharine, John, George, Michael, Andrew, Barbara, Christena and Mary. Elizabeth was my GGGgrandmother. From my research, I believe Catharine Forrer passed away in the 1790s and in 1805 or 1806, Andrew brought some of all of his kids to Ohio to settle there on some new land. From my research, I believe Catharine Forrer passed away in the 1790s and in 1805 or 1806, Andrew brought some of all of his kids to Ohio to settle there on some new land. On their way to Germantown, Ohio the group stopped at a cabin to ask for accomodation for the night. The countryside was wilderness back then. This cabin belonged to John Kemp, another new emigrant also from Berks County, Pennsylvannia. John noticed Elizabeth, who was about 24 years of age and was attracted to her and she to him, and thus, were married a little while later. Elizabeth and John made their first home in this cabin and proceded to have a few children. A larger home was built later and was named Pleasant Ridge. Elizabeth's and John's children were: Christina, Martha, John, Sarah, Catharine, Mary Elizabeth and Peter (My GGgrandfather). John Kemp, Sr. was a farmer. He apparently spoke German as his first language, but gradually became more proficient with English, but never lost his German accent. He had only a limited education, which was probably normal for back then. He was a relgious man and became a minister in the United Brethren Church. He eventually was appointed the first Western Bishop of the Church. I am not sure what the cause of death for Elizabeth was.
