Everything in medical science, and loving care was given, but to no avail, and she came to her death peacefully. Read More	The Creighton New, March 10, 1927 "Mrs. John Doerr Passes On" This community was greatly grieved on Monday morning, upon learning of the passing of Mrs. John Doerr at her home east of Creighton on Sunday at 3 p.m. Mrs. Doerr had been ill for the past four years, and her death was due to liver trouble. Everything in medical science, and loving care was given, but to no avail, and she came to her death peacefully. Regrets are expressed that this excellent mother had been called so early in life to her reward. Her demise is especially sad, owing to the fact that her husband died just two weeks ago. The deceased was a faithful mother and her life was given to her home and children, whom she tenderly cared for and loved. She was born in Pierce county, Nebraska on August 6, 1878, and was 48 years and 7 months of age. The surviving relatives are a son, Reinert, and daughter, Katherine, and hosts of other relatives. The funeral was held on Wednesday afternoon from the Golgotha Lutheran church, northeast of Creighton, and the church was filled by friends who came to pay their final respects. The remains were interred in the Golgotha cemetery, beside her husband. To the bereaved children and relatives, The News wishes to be mentioned with the many friends of this family in extending heartfelt sympathy in this time of great sorrow.
