Timothy Lange will officiate with burial in the Stanton Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, 3-8 PM with rosary at 8 PM at Schultz - Vogel - Johnson Mortuary in Stanton. She died Wednesday, April 28, 1993 at a Norfork Hospital. The daughter of Gustav and Dorothy (Peterson) Muhs was born October 6, 1902 in Stanton County. She attended Stanton County rural schools. On October 15, 1926 she married Frank PARR at Stanton. They farmed south of Stanton. Mr. PARR died in 1955. Mrs. PARR moved to Stanton in 1965 and worked at Leona's coffee shop until retiring. She became a resident of the Stanton Nursing Home in 1990. Mrs. Parr was a member of St. Peter's Church, St. Peter's Altar Society, VFW Auxiliary, Clay Hill Extension Club and the Butterfly Homemakers Extension Club. Survivors include daughters Dorothy Schultz of Omaha and Carol Lollis of Kansas City Missouri; Sons and spouses, David and Verda of Omaha, Tom and Ada of Warrensburg Missouri, and Gus and Barbara of Madison; daughter-in-law Rosina Parr of Wisner, 21 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren, sister Elsie Muhs of Wisner; brother Paul Muhs of Neola, Iowa. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one son and six brothers.
