Description	:	Ella D. Morgan, 90, of Gig Harbor, passed away Sunday, July 8, 1990, at the Bel Air Health Care facility in Tacoma. She was born March 2, 1900, in Milan, Wisconsin. She moved with her family to the Gig Harbor area in 1902 and since that time had livd in the Bremerton and Gig Harbor areas. She married Albion E. She was born March 2, 1900, in Milan, Wisconsin. She moved with her family to the Gig Harbor area in 1902 and since that time had livd in the Bremerton and Gig Harbor areas. She married Albion E. "Pete" Morgan on November 25, 1916, at Burley, Washington. He died in 1964. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Luella M. Morgan McIntyre. For the past 18 years, she had been an active volunteer in the RSVP Program in Gig Harbor. During this time, she received many awards, including the Joe Koppler Senior Citizen "Hall of Fame Award" on December 6, 1980. This award is presented as recognition for outstanding work performed that makes life more meaningful for our elder citizens. In 1984, she received the J.C. Penney Golden Rule Award for exceptional volunteer service. She was a member and past president of the Rosedale Cemetery Association. She is survived by sons, Elvy E. Morgan, Gig Harbor, Glen A. Morgan, Seabeck; four grandchildren, Tim McIntyre, Bremerton, Gary McIntyre, Port Orchard, Debra (Mrs. Dan) Lund, Gig Harbor, Sheila Morgan-Tapp, Edmonds; seven great-grandchildren, and seven great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, July 12, at the Lewis Funeral Chapel in Bremerton, conducted by Dr. Rodney Smith of First Christian Church, Bremerton. Interment will be at the Forest Lawn Cemetery, Bremerton. Family and friends are invited to a gathering at the Glen Morgan home at Seabeck immediately following funeral services.
