The cause of death was tuberculosis. Mrs. Vogt was taken sick with the disease that caused her death about the middle of last June and she has been confined to her bed ever since August 18. It has been known for some time that there was no prospect for her recovery and she was fully prepared for death. The deceased, whose maiden name was Ella Kincaid, was born near Bristow, Iowa, January 9, 1870, and all the earlier part of her life was passed in Butler County near the place of her birth. She was married February 13, 1889 to Amos Vogt, who survives her with two children, the older being a girl of 11 and the younger a boy of 4. Shortly after marriage, Mr. and Mrs. Vogt moved to Nebraska and were residents of that state until the early part of last summer. They moved to Waterloo from Holdredge, Nebraska about the middle of June, Mrs. Vogt having previously come to Iowa on a visit and having been taken sick while here. The funeral will be held on Saturday at Bristow, to which place the remains will be taken for interment, her parents already buried there and she has numerous relative living in that county.
