Description	:	Funeral Rites For Ella Christiansen Thursday Funeral services were conducted last Thursday for Ella Christiansen, who passed away about 11:15 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 15, after suffering a heart attack earlier in the day. She had been in poor health for many years and recently had spent considerable time in the hospital. The services, held at the Zion Lutheran church, were conducted by the Rev. Adolph Lillich. Burial was in Greenwood cemetery. Pallbearers were Dr. M. W. Kile, Dr. F. F. Theisen, G. W. Allen, Kenneth Elwood, Jack Ryan and Joe Kocina. Music was provided by a quartet composed of Mrs. Loren Kienow, Mrs. Carl Falter, Mrs. Leo Jundt and Mrs. Lyle Stingley, accompanied at the piano by Mrs. Lawrence Condon. Ella Eleanore Christiansen, daughter of Christ and Lena Christiansen, was born Dec. 1, 1901, at Clinton, Iowa. She came with her parents to Creighton when about a year old. She was received as a confirmed member of the Zion Lutheran church in 1920 when she renewed the promises made for her at her baptism in Clinton. She remained a faithful member of the church until her death. Since the death of her mother in 1928 she made her home with her brother, Chris, at her parents' home in Creighton. Her father preceded her in death in 1920 and a half-brother, Mike Christiansen, in 1918. She is survived by four brothers, Fred, Carl and Chris of Creighton and George of Marsing, Idaho; two sisters, Mrs. George Christina Bertschinger of Creighton and Mrs. Carl Anna Grosse of Walnut; two half-brothers, Paul Christiansen of Graff, Mo., and Ed Christiansen of Duluth, Minn.
