Description	:	Mrs Ella Poling, wife of Arthur Poling, for many years a resident of Albion, who had lived at State Center the last year, died Friday of gall bladder trouble. She underwent an operation early in the week. She had been in poor health for several years but had been bedfast for only a little more than two weeks. Mrs Poling was born Ella Hopping, August 31, 1866, in Jasper county. She was married February 15, 1882 at Irwin. Three children were born to her, two of whom are living. Mrs Poling was born Ella Hopping, August 31, 1866, in Jasper county. She was married February 15, 1882 at Irwin. Three children were born to her, two of whom are living. They are Mrs Albert Jones of Wonewoc, Wisconsin, V A Poling of State Center. The funeral was held from the St Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church at 11 o'clock Sunday morning, in charge of Rev J G Oltman. Burial was in the Bethel Grove Cemetery. May 5, 1921 State Center Enterprise.
