Description	:	Mrs. Ella Young Dies; Funeral Held Friday Funeral services for Mrs. Ella Young, 71, who passed away suddenly at her home Wednesday, Feb. 27 were conducted Friday afternoon at Hengstler's Chapel. The Rev. J.L. Garland, pastor of the Grace Bible Church, officiated. Interment was in Greenwood Cemetery. Mrs. Young was found dead on the floor of her home Wednesday morning. The Rev. J.L. Garland, pastor of the Grace Bible Church, officiated. Interment was in Greenwood Cemetery. Mrs. Young was found dead on the floor of her home Wednesday morning. She was in night attire and had apparently been out of bed and was returning when she was stricken. Her death was discovered by a group of neighbors, when she did not make her usual appearances. After tying the door, they looked through a window to see Mrs. Young lying on the floor. They notified authorities, who investigated. Ella Mae Foster, daughter of John and Louise Foster, was born June 1, 1888 at Wildrose, Wis., where she resided with her parents until the family moved to Colorado in 1902. They came to Creighton in 1912, where she lived until her death. On October 18, 1916 she was united in marriage to Samuel A. Young. They lived on a farm near Creighton until 1939, when they retired from active farming due to failing health. Mr. Young passed away August 24, 1945. Mrs. Young was preceded in death also by two brothers, John and Jim #36156051. She was a charter member of the Grace Bible Church of Creighton and maintained a constant interest in the activities of the church even though her health did not permit her to attend the meetings. She is survived by two brothers, E. L. Foster of Pine Bluff, Wyo. and Robert Foster of Gainsville, Fla., several nieces and nephews. ...The Creighton News 4 March 1954
