She was born July 15, 1938 in Pitkin to the union of Calvin Mancil and Verlie (Thompson) Mancil. She was a Baptist by faith and worked in the Sevens Clans Buffett at Coushatta Casino Resort as a food server. Ella was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt, cousin and friend. She is preceded in death by her parents; her stepmother, Bessie L. Mancil; her brother, Roy Mancil; two sons, Ronnie Mancil and Ricky Mancil; two grandsons, Patrick Mancil and C. D. Mancil. Those left behind to cherish her memory are: her loving husband of 42 years, Donald M. Rollins of Oakdale; one son, Terry Mancil of Pitkin; one daughter, Josette (Roy) McArthur of Jefferson, Texas; one brother, Billy Mancil of Oakdale; two sisters, Genive Ballard of Oakdale and Dorothy (Ortha) Davis of Longview, Texas; nine grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; very special mother-in-law, Dorothy Rollins of Oakdale; one special friend, Sandra Trimm; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends. Pallbearers to serve will be Charlie Landon, James Pickering, Bobby Baker, Junior Maricle, Kenneth Hebert, and Kevin Hebert. Honorary pallbearer to serve will be Billy Ray Willis. Visitation will be held at White Oaks Memorial Chapel on Saturday, May 28, 2016 from 12 noon until service time at 2 p.m. in the chapel. In lieu of flowers, make love offerings to your favorite charity.
