Read More	Ella was the daughter of August Warnke and Sophia Schmidt. She married Henry Boell on April 27, 1904. They were the parents of Elmer, Paul, Floyd, George, Edna and Florence. May 10, 1923 - Carroll Times - Ella Margaret Warnke Boell was born November 3, 1880, in Grant Township, Carroll county. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. August Warnke. In her youth she was confirmed in the Lutheran church in Sheridan township. On April 27, 1904, she was united in marriage to Mr. Henry Boell. Mrs. Boell suffered for more than two years with the terrible malady, cancer of the breast. She not only consulted local physicians, but also specialists in Savanna and Kansas City, Mo:, but to no effect. During these years of suffering she bore her cross in true Christian spirit. On Monday afternoon at 12:20 o'clock after she had received the Lord's Supper and after her pastor and her relatives had prayed for and with her, she breathed her last. She leaves to mourn her death, her bereaved husband, five children, her mother, Mrs. Sophia Warnke, her aged mother-in-law, Mrs. Maria Boell, three sisters: Mrs. John Shoemaker, Mrs. Bert Boell, Miss Netti Warnke, and four brothers: George Warnke, of Scranton, N.D.; John, Charles, and August Warnke, of Carroll, and a very large number of other near relatives and sympathetic friends. She was laid to rest Wednesday afternoon in the Carroll cemetery, funeral services having been conducted by Rev. A.J. Mueller, at the Lutheran church.
