Description	:	Ella McAuliff, 94, of Ravenna died Friday, Nov. 19, 2010, at the Good Samaritan Center in Ravenna. Ella was born Aug. 1, 1916, on Fort Farm Island near Gibbon to Otto and Mabel (Keiss) Lowell. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harley, on May 12, 1990. Survivors are: sons and daughters-in-law, Warren and Doris McAuliff of Litchfield, Douglas and Glenice McAuliff and Marvin and Sandy McAuliff, all of Ravenna, and John and Kristi McAuliff of Seminole, Okla.; brothers, Clifford Lowell of Kearney and Melvin Lowell of St. George, Utah; seven grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren and a host of friends... Survivors are: sons and daughters-in-law, Warren and Doris McAuliff of Litchfield, Douglas and Glenice McAuliff and Marvin and Sandy McAuliff, all of Ravenna, and John and Kristi McAuliff of Seminole, Okla.; brothers, Clifford Lowell of Kearney and Melvin Lowell of St. George, Utah; seven grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren and a host of friends and relatives. Ella attended rural schools and Shelton High School. She did domestic work in several homes prior to her marriage. Ella married Harley McAuliff on Nov. 5, 1936, in Gibbon. They farmed in the Gibbon area until 1939, when they moved to a farm north of Kearney. They farmed in this area until 1970. She moved to Ravenna in 1994.
