Mrs. Ellen Burch was found dead in her bed early Sunday morning by the young lady, who had been staying with and caring for her since her stroke of paralysis of a few weeks ago. A physician was called and said she had evidently been dead several hours. Death resulted from heart failure. Her children were notified and came that afternoorn and night from Viborg and Canova and the remains were shipped to Canova Monday afternoon for burial, as per her oft repeated request. A short funeral service was held from the home at one o'clock, conducted by Rev. J. Corwin. Data for an obituary had not been secured at the hour of going to press, but will be on hand for next week. Mrs. Burch was a devout christian lady and a member of the Methodist church. She had not been in good health for a number of years.
