Following info supplied by Carl Steiger: Source: Baker Sentinel Paper Date: 20 Jun 1913 Mrs. David Jolly, whose maiden name was Ellen Wilkinson was born at Mineral Point, Wisconsin, Aug. 26, 1850, and died at the Jolly home sixteen miles north of Ekalaka, Mont., Thursday, June 5, 1913, at 8:15 a.m. aged 62 years, 9 months and 9 days. On Nov. 12, 1872, she was married to David Jolly at Mineral Point, Wis. In the year 1879 Mrs. Jolly moved with her husband to Rapid Valley, South Dakota, where she made her home till the year 1900, when the family moved to Boise, Idaho. Eight years ago Mr. and Mrs. Jolly came to this country where they have since lived. Mrs. Jolly was a faithful wife and mother, a good woman and a believer in the Christian life and hope. She leaves to mourn her death her husband, David Jolly, and their eight children, viz: Mrs. Edith Della Thompson, Charles Joseph, George David, Aubrey Lee, Oscar Bently of Carvallis, Oregon, Mrs. Katherine May Shenefelt of Hingham, Mont., Clarence Leslie and Florence Fay, besides a host of friends and more distant relatives. Funeral services were conducted at the home Saturday, June 7, at 10 a.m. where words of gospel home and comfort were spoken by Rev. W.S. Bowden of Ekalaka, Mont. The deceased was buried in the Odd Fellows cemetery at Ekalaka.
