Description	:	OBITUARY Ellewisa Cylesta Kemmerer was born in Northampton County, Pennsylvania, September 21, 1841. She was married to Ephraim D. Austin, May 26, 1860, in Summit County, Ohio. This union was blessed with five children, Alam, Inez, Alice, Allen and Jasper. Alice and Allen were twins the later dying in infancy. They lived in Ohio until 1872, when they moved to Washington Twp., Monroe Co., Missouri. In 1884 they again moved westward, stopping near Dorchester, in Saline County, Nebraska, for one year, then came to Clay County, Nebraska, locating on a farm near Spring Ranch, where they made their home until, December 1908... Read More	OBITUARY Ellewisa Cylesta Kemmerer was born in Northampton County, Pennsylvania, September 21, 1841. She was married to Ephraim D. Austin, May 26, 1860, in Summit County, Ohio. This union was blessed with five children, Alam, Inez, Alice, Allen and Jasper. Alice and Allen were twins the later dying in infancy. They lived in Ohio until 1872, when they moved to Washington Twp., Monroe Co., Missouri. In 1884 they again moved westward, stopping near Dorchester, in Saline County, Nebraska, for one year, then came to Clay County, Nebraska, locating on a farm near Spring Ranch, where they made their home until, December 1908 when they came to Fairfield. Here she passed to her reward from the home of her daughter, Mrs. Alice Ray. She passed at the age of 81 years, 5 months and 12 days. She was confirmed in the German Reformed Church, Norton, Ohio, June 13, 1857. After her marriage she became identified with the Methodist Episcopal church. She leaves to mourn her going away, three daughters and one son, Mrs. Alma Kerr, Brady, Nebr., Mrs. Inez Flint, Del Rey, California, Mrs. Alice Ray, Fairfield, Nebr., and Jasper Austin, Trenton, Nebr., and other relatives and friends. "Asleep in Jesus, blessed sleep, from which none ever wakes to weep, a calm and undisturbed repose, unbroken by the last of foes" The funeral was held from the home of her daughter, Mrs. Ray on Thursday afternoon, Rev. E. A. Shawkey, pastor of the Methodist church, conducting the service, assisted by rev. G. A. Hobson. Interment was in the Fairfield cemetery.
