He was born May 26, 1897, in Davis County to Izaak [sic] and Marella [sic] Tharp Mason. He was a retired farmer. His first wife, Lola Mason, died Jan. 2, 1977. The service will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Robertson-Jay Funeral Home, the Rev. Leonard Sammon officiating. Burial will be in Shaul Cemetery. Family visitation will be in Shaul Cemetery. Family visitation will be 7-8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be his grandsons.
