Mr. Holder was born in Santa Fe, and was a lifetime resident of Alachua County. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Elizabeth Davis Holder of Gainesville; three sons, Marion Holder of Gainesville, Ellis Holder of Winter Haven and Thomas Holder of Sorrento, Fla.; four sisters, Mrs. Bell Daily of Gainesville, Mrs. Ione Howell of Jacksonville, Mrs. Lucille Hooker of Santa Fe and Mrs. Ovida Mae Dukes of Orange Lake; two brothers, Senegal Holder of Crystal River and George Holder of Belleview; and 10 grandchildren. Funeral Notice HOLDER, MR. Ellis W. ---- Funeral services for Mr. Holder, age 79, Retired Rural Mall Carrier, will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 14, 1977, at Huggins-Copeland Chapel with Rev. David McGaffic conducting the services. Burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park. Mr. Holder, who lived at 920 M. W. 25th Ave., Gainesville, Fla. died June 11, 1977 at the residence of his son. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of HUGGINS-COPELAND FUNERAL HOME. 725 N.W. 23rd Ave., Gainesville, Fla. In lieu of flowers contributions may be sent to the Holder Memorial Fund c/o Wesley United Methodist Church, Gainesville, Fla.
