Description	:	"From the Miller Press, August 9, 2017 (partial article) On Thursday, August 22, 1957, fire broke out in the Hyde County Implement Company in Highmore when sparks from a welding torch ignited flammable material. The Miller Volunteer Fire Department responded to the Highmore Volunteer Fire Department’s request for help. While they were fighting the fire a 500-gallon oil tank in the burning building exploded. Burning oil sprayed over eight of the men fighting the fire. Six were from the Miller Fire Department.
