Description	:	OBIT: Requiem Mass will be said at St. Andrew's Catholic Church here Tuesday morning at 9:30 o'clock for Mrs. Elmadine Kathryn Gehlen, well-known Ellensburg woman who died Friday night at Doctors Hospital in Seattle. She had undergone major surgery there on Thursday. Rosary services will be held at the Evenson Chapel this evening at 7:30 o'clock. Interment in Holy Cross Cemetery will follow the requiem mass. Mrs. Gehlen, 37, was the wife of Lawrence J. Gehlen, prominent Ellensburg autombile dealer. Mrs. Gehlen, 37, was the wife of Lawrence J. Gehlen, prominent Ellensburg autombile dealer. She was born in Cle Elum, November 26, 1908, the daughter of Mrs. Cora Werlich and the late Elmer Werlich. After graduating from high school, she attended Washington State College, graduated from Central Washington College and taught in the Wapato School system. She and Mr. Gehlen were married November 29, 1933 and had made their home here since. Mrs. Gehlen was a member of St. Andrew's Church of St. Magaret's Society of the church, and of the Ellensburg Orthopedic Guild. Surviving are her husband; her mother; three daughters, Jean, a student at Seattle University; Patricia, and Molly; a son, Joseph, and a sister, Mrs. Mark (Mildred) Yeackel of Portland. The family requests that anyone wishing to give memorial remembrances in lieu of flowers send them to the Cancer Society in care of Mrs. K. J. Larimer, memorial chairman, at 209 East Capital Avenue, or have masses said for the repose of the soul of Mrs. Gehlen. Actice pallbearers are Joe Kelleher, George Fitterer, Frank McMorrow, Earl Wippel, Victor Bruketta, and Gerald Morgan. Honorary pallbearers are Frank Thomas, Virgil Cunningham, L. L.
