Description	:	MUSCATINE, Iowa - ''Andy'' Elmer Anderson, 73, of Muscatine, died Sunday, March 12, 2000, at Unity Hospital in Muscatine. Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Geo. M. Wittich-Lewis Funeral Home. The Rev. Don Swanson will officiate. Pallbearers will be Andrew Anderson, Robecca Anderson, Josiah Anderson, Chris Anderson, Elisabeth Anderson, Rachel Anderson, Benjamin Anderson, and Melissa Garrett. Burial will be at Muscatine Memorial Park Cemetery. A luncheon will be served at First Baptist Church following the services. Mr. Anderson was born Sept. 14, 1926, in Shovel Lake, Minn., the son of Andrew and Frieda Swanson Anderson. He married Gertrude Bromwell Law on Aug. 10, 1947, in Muscatine. He was a member of Muscatine Power Boat Club, Coast Guard Auxiliary, the Iowa Lodge No. 2, York Rite, Knights Templer, Consistery, KAABA Shrine Hospital Dads of KAABA Shrine, Provost Guard, and the Loyal Order of the Moose. He was also the 1963 city singles bowling champion. He worked for H.J. Heinz as their first forklift driver, a bus driver for the City of Muscatine, the State of Iowa, Midwest Culvert, and drove the shuttle service at the Lutheran Homes. Survivors include two sons, David Anderson and his wife, Regina and Dennis Anderson and his wife, Teresa, all of Muscatine; six grandchildren, Andrew Anderson and his wife, Robecca, Josiah, Chris, Elisabeth, Rachel and Benjamin Anderson; John R. Anderson and his wife, Darlene, of Silver Bay, Minn. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; and a brother, Roy D. Anderson.
