Description	:	Elmer Myers Obit Elmer Myers was born December 1, 1879 at Danvers, Illinois and departed this life March 26, 1957 at his place of business in Milford, Nebraska at the age of 77 years, 3 months and 25 days. He came to Nebraska with his parents, Nicholes and Mary Myers and his brother Frank in 1887 where they settled on a farm west of Milford. Read More	Elmer Myers Obit Elmer Myers was born December 1, 1879 at Danvers, Illinois and departed this life March 26, 1957 at his place of business in Milford, Nebraska at the age of 77 years, 3 months and 25 days. He came to Nebraska with his parents, Nicholes and Mary Myers and his brother Frank in 1887 where they settled on a farm west of Milford. He was converted at the age of seventeen and has been an active and faithful member of the United Missionary Church until the time of his death. He served in many ways in the work of the Sunday School and Church serving as class leader, Sunday School teacher and on the trustees board. He was united in marriage to Charline Fraley September 15, 1900 at Hutchinson, Kansas. To this union were born five children, two sons, and three daughters. His wife, preceded him in death on December 17, 1944. They lived on a farm eight miles west of Milford for ten years, then moving to a farm near Mt Pleasant, lA where they resided until 1928. Since that time he has been in the barber business in Seward County, most of the time in Milford. He was united in marriage to Mrs. Pearl Sullivan of Milford on February 11, 1946. His parents, two sisters and one brother preceded him in death. Surviving to mourn his departure are his wife Pearl of Milford, three daughters, Mrs. Ruth Eberspacher of Seward, Mrs. Floy Burkey and DeElda Stahly of Milford, two sons, Thurlowe of Wayland, Iowa and Glen of Burbank, California, one sister, Mrs. Pearl Carper of Mt Pleasant Iowa, two brothers, Frank of Minneapolis, Minnesota, Mahlon of Pasadena, California, seven teen grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and many relatives and friends. Funeral services were conducted at the United Missionary Church Friday afternoon, March 29th at 2 PM with the Pastor Charles Gray in charge with Rev James T Hoskins of Lincoln assisting. Burial was in the Pleasant View cemetery. Relatives from a distance attending the services were as follows, Mr. and Mrs. Thurlowe Myers, Wayland, Iowa, Mrs. Pearl Carper, Mt Pleasant, Iowa Frank Myers, Minneapolis, Minnesota, Mr. and Mrs. Wesley Ehrisman, Omaha, Mrs. Alberta Springer and Mrs. Zimmerman of Aurora, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Schrock, Mr. and Mrs. Emanuel Ehrsiman, Mrs. Philip Lewis all of Hutchinson, Kansas.
