Born on October 27, 1947 in Defiance, Ohio he was the son of the late Elmer and Bernadine (Feeney) Marihugh. Marihugh, 68, died Sunday, July 31, 2016 at Lutheran Hospital, Ft. Wayne, Indiana. Born on October 27, 1947 in Defiance, Ohio he was the son of the late Elmer and Bernadine (Feeney) Marihugh. On April 15, 1967, Elmer was united in marriage to Beth Fields and she preceded him in death on January 26, 2013. Elmer was a graduate of Defiance High School. He was a veteran of the United States Navy and retired from Cooper Industries in Hicksville, Ohio. He was a member of the Hicksville Volunteer Fire Department and after retirement he worked for the Jim Schmidt Family of Dealers. Elmer is survived by four daughters; Kris (Jeff) Rumple of Hicksville, Ann (Mike) Bowers of Antwerp, Ohio, Mary (Otto) Naegele of Ft. Davis, Texas, Robin (Jay) Rumple of Sevierville, Tennessee; (13) grandchildren; four great grandchildren and five sisters, Velma Whitford, Joyce Huggins, Jan Nickols, Bobbi Elders and Beverly Casper. He was preceded in death by a sister Hope Axe and a brother Robert. Visitation will be Wednesday at Smith & Brown Funeral Home, Hicksville, from 4:00-8:00. The funeral will be Thursday at 10:00 at the funeral home Burial will be in Forest Home Cemetery, Hicksville with military honors by the Hicksville American Legion Post #223
