Description	:	Elmer(Bud) Rubenbauer,76,of Route 2, lifelong Dillon area farmer, died Monday afternoon at the Marshalltown Area Community Hospital where he had been a patient since Nov. 8. He had been in failing health for a year. Born Nov. 7,1898, at the present home, he was the son of John and Anna Wolken Rubenbauer. Read More	Elmer(Bud) Rubenbauer,76,of Route 2, lifelong Dillon area farmer, died Monday afternoon at the Marshalltown Area Community Hospital where he had been a patient since Nov. 8. He had been in failing health for a year. Born Nov. 7,1898, at the present home, he was the son of John and Anna Wolken Rubenbauer. He received his education in the parochial school at the Trinity Lutheran Church. On Sept 12, 1923, he was married to Edith Snyder in Marshalltown and they had always resided on the same farm south of Dillon. Mr. and Mrs. Rubenbauer celebrated their 51st wedding anniversary in September. Mr. Rubenbauer was a member of the Dillon Trinity Lutheran Church where he was baptized and confirmed in 1915 and a long time member of the Farm Bureau. Preceding him in death were two brothers and two sisters. Surviving are his widow and two daughters, Mrs Don (Ruth)Lupardus of Dike and Mrs. Elwin(Frances)Groth, Route 2. Also surviving are five grandaughters and a grandson, three great-grandchildren, two sisters, Mrs Fred Rohde of Marshalltown and Mrs. Hans Schmidt of Haverhill, as well as several nieces and nephews. Services will be from the Dillon Trinity Lutheran Church 1:30 p.m. Thursday with the Rev. Charles Kolk officiating. Burial will be in the Trinity Lutheran Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the Heart Fund or the Dillon Trinity Lutheran Church. Friends may call at the Estel-Perrin Funeral Home till 9 a.m. Thursday.
