Description	:	Funeral services for Elmer M. York, 82, of Creighton were held on Saturday, Jan. 10 at 10:30 a.m. at the Brockhaus Funeral Home in Creighton. Reverend Olin Belt officiated with burial in the Greenwood Cemetery. Elmer M. York, son of Henry and Alice (Case) York, was born October 21, 1904 at Center, where he grew up and farmed many years. Elmer married Marie Meade. To this union four children were born; Bill, Phyllis, Pauline and Dolores. York, son of Henry and Alice (Case) York, was born October 21, 1904 at Center, where he grew up and farmed many years. Elmer married Marie Meade. To this union four children were born; Bill, Phyllis, Pauline and Dolores. He had served on the Plum Valley District C-50 School Board and was Valley Township precinct Assessor. In 1961 he moved to Creighton, where he worked at the sale barn and was a sales representative for Pioneer Seed Corn Co. His wife, Marie, died in 1973. He married Thelma (Finke) Irish in November 1975. Survivors include his wife, Thelma; son, Bill, of Creighton; three daughters, Mrs. Donald (Phyllis) Lutt of Grand Island, Mrs. Fred (Pauline) Burgi of Casper, Wyo. and Mrs. Samuel (Dolores) Thorton of Severna Park, Md.; twelve grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
