Michael Davis will officiate with burial in the Oakdale Cemetery. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 4 to 8 P.M. at Brockhaus-Harlan Funeral Home in Tilden. Dottie Morse, daughter of Charles and Edith (Cutler) Ware, was born on July 2, 1924 at Bridgeport, Nebraska and entered eternal peace on August 6, 2010 at Nebraska University Medical Center in Omaha at the age of 86 years, 1 month and 4 days. She attended North Port and Bridgeport High School. On June 22, 1944, she was united in marriage to Wayne A. Morse at Howard, Kansas. Four daughters were born to this union: Diana F., Carolyn K., Sarah and Wanda M. After her husband's tour of duty in the Navy during World War II, they returned to Nebraska in 1946. With her husband's work for Consumers Public Power, they lived in several Nebraska towns including: Creighton, Gordon, Rushville and finally Neligh in 1961. Dottie worked at several area businesses including Wanek Drug, Hesteds, the Shoebox, Gambles and True Value all in Neligh. She was a volunteer at the Antelope Memorial Hospital and a member of the United Methodist Church and an active member of Pioneer Homes in Neligh. Survivors include her three daughters and husbands, Diana F. and Ron Weber of Tilden, NE, Carolyn and Vito Capone of Aurora, CO, Wanda and Steve Cornett of Oakdale, NE; nine grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; sister, Euteva Lisec of Cary, NC; sister in law, Norma Morse of Independence, KS; and many nieces, nephews and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband in 1992; parents; infant daughter, Sarah; one infant granddaughter; one infant great grandson; two brothers, Earl and Everett Ware; and one sister, Ella Barnt.
