Description	:	The funeral services of Mrs. Roy Dawson, and infant son, who died Monday evening, were held at the M.E. Church Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock. A sermon was preached at the house, then the bodies were taken to the church. Mrs. Roy Dawson, whose former name was Elsie Duncan, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Alon Duncan was born and raised in Fraser. She was well thought of at home, and was held in high esteem. When she was between 18 and 19 years of age she met Roy Dawson. They were married December 6, 1921. ... A sermon was preached at the house, then the bodies were taken to the church. Mrs. Roy Dawson, whose former name was Elsie Duncan, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Alon Duncan was born and raised in Fraser. She was well thought of at home, and was held in high esteem. When she was between 18 and 19 years of age she met Roy Dawson. They were married December 6, 1921. She was 20 years, 11 months and 15 days old when she died. She had one sister dead and two brothers living. The brothers names were George and Carrie. About ten minutes after the infant died, the mother opened her eyes and inquired if the child was dead. The answer was "yes." She closed her eyes and said "I am going too, Roy, buy a lot as close to my sister as you can; bury the baby in my arms." Mr. and Mrs. Dawson were a happy couple, never had a cross word in the past two years of married life. Mr. Dawson is heart broken in this great grief and has the sympathy of the entire community.
