Description	:	ELSIE ETHEL STALDER Elsie Ethel Stalderr, the daughter of William and Jessie Siak Myers, was born July 8. 1889 south of Corning, Iowa, on the Pete Bentley farm and entered into rest at the Rosary Hospital in Coming, Iowa, March 28. 1982. She was 92 years, 8 months and 20 days old. On February 7. 1912. she was united in marriage with James C. Stalder. Read More	ELSIE ETHEL STALDER Elsie Ethel Stalderr, the daughter of William and Jessie Siak Myers, was born July 8. 1889 south of Corning, Iowa, on the Pete Bentley farm and entered into rest at the Rosary Hospital in Coming, Iowa, March 28. 1982. She was 92 years, 8 months and 20 days old. On February 7. 1912. she was united in marriage with James C. Stalder. Three children were born to this union, John W., Ethelda and an infant son who passed away at birth. Mrs Stalder lived her entire life in Adams County except for three years spent in Corning, California, where she and her husband operated an electric shop. They returned to Brooks in 1930 and established the Brooks Greenhouses, which they operated until her husbands death September 5, 1961. She was also preceded in death by her parents; two sisters and three brothers. Survivors include her son. John W. Stalder and wife Jo of Reno, Nevada a daughter. Ethelda Stillinger of Brooks, lowa four grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren: four sisters, Grace Mitchell. Flossie Goldsmith and Keni Goldsmith, all of Corning and Ruth Triplet of Red Oak. la., other relatives and many friends. She was a member of the Brooks United Methodist Church, where she witnessed her faith by using her talent of music as church organist. Another of her talents was raising beautiful flowers which she shared w i t h others freely. She enjoyed and loved her home and family dearly and enjoyed most was times of having her family Funeral services were held at the United Methodist Church in Brooks March 31 at 2:00 p.m with Rev. Zona Lautt officiating. Interment was in Methodist Grove Cemetery. Nodaway. Iowa. Music was provided bv Erma Fuller, organist Casket bearers were Glen Mitchell. Olin Goldsmith, Karl Goldsmith, Leo Stalder, Jeff Hedinger and Glen Greenfield.
