Description	:	SALISBURY - Elsie Mae Banks, 84, of Salisbury died Wednesday, May 31, 2000, at Peninsula Regional Medical Center in Salisbury. Born in Laurel on Sept 24, 1915, she was the daughter of the late John H. and Lillie Mae Hastings Webster. She was preceded in death by her husband, Hayward L. Banks, who died in 1958; two sons, Ronnie H. Banks, who died in 1965 and John H. Banks who died in 1992; and a brother and two sisters. Banks, who died in 1958; two sons, Ronnie H. Banks, who died in 1965 and John H. Banks who died in 1992; and a brother and two sisters. Mrs Banks was a member of Messiah Baptist Fellowship Church and the Women of the Moose Lodge 1208. She is survived by three children, Leslie G. Banks of Delmar, Md.; Faye E. Webster of Berlin and Clyde W. Banks of Laurel, DE; 11 grandchildren, Dexter Lynch, Victoria West, Heather Records, Robin Banks, Scott Banks, Eric Banks, Michael Banks, Leslie Banks, Jr., Michelle Cropper, Laura Hill and Jerry Banks; 10 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; two sisters, Edna Pesano of Georgia and Pauline Parker of Delmar, DE; and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at Bounds Funeral Home on East Main Street in Salisbury. The Rev. Steve Wagner will officiate. Interment will follow in Banks Cemetery in Fruitland. Friends and family may call at the Bounds Funeral Home Friday from 7 to 9 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Messiah Baptist Fellowship Church, 800F S.
