Description	:	Elsie Marie was born to Carl and Iva (Scriven) Wells at St. Edward, Nebraska on May 28, 1920. She attended St. Edward Public Schools and graduated with the class of 1938. After graduation, Marie moved to Palo Alto, CA for a couple years and worked as an usherette in a theatre. She moved back to Omaha and was united in marriage to Allan C. Druesedow in Dec. 1940. To this union two children were born, Allan "Tuck" and Holly Jo. During their marriage they lived in several places in Nebraska and later moved to Boulder, Colorado. They were later divorced.... Read More	Elsie Marie was born to Carl and Iva (Scriven) Wells at St. Edward, Nebraska on May 28, 1920. She attended St. Edward Public Schools and graduated with the class of 1938. After graduation, Marie moved to Palo Alto, CA for a couple years and worked as an usherette in a theatre. She moved back to Omaha and was united in marriage to Allan C. Druesedow in Dec. 1940. To this union two children were born, Allan "Tuck" and Holly Jo. During their marriage they lived in several places in Nebraska and later moved to Boulder, Colorado. They were later divorced. Marie worked as a lab technician for Drs. Dalton and Bass in Genoa, Nebraska. She was married to Warren "Shorty" Stejskal in Nov. 1963 at St. Edward, Nebraska. They made their home on farm west of Albion. He passed away in 1994. In her spare time, Marie enjoyed riding horses, shopping, gardening, exercising, being outdoors, biking and taking walks. She moved to her home in Tecumseh in 2000 to be near to her daughter. While in Tecumseh Marie had the opportunity to spend time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She loved attending their school and athletic activities. In 2010 when her health began to decline Marie became a resident of Belle Terrace Nursing Home in Tecumseh. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Warren, sister, Dorothy Baker and son-in-law, Lynn Hasselbalch.
