Form (sic) Saturday's Daily. Last evening the home of Mr. and Mrs. Isaac Campbell was the scene of a very pretty wedding, when their daughter, Elsie, was united in marriage to Mr. John Duwe. Promptly at 8 o'clock as the wedding march was being played by Miss Monk, at the piano, with accompaniment on the violin by Mrs. A.A. Brooks, proceeded by four little flower girls and Wm. Duwe with his sister, Miss Edith the bride and groom took their places before Rev. A.A. Brooks, who soon pronounced them man and wife. The bride was dressed in a soft embroidered mull with a string of pearls around her neck. The groom in conventional black. An elegant three course supper was served. The dining tables were decorated with beautiful cut flowers. Only relatives and a few very close friends were present. Mr. and Mrs. Duwe go to housekeeping at once in their own home in East Superior where they will be glad to greet friends. The Daily Journal joins a host of friends in extending congratulations and best wishes. ====================== Mrs. Elsie May Duwe, daughter of Isaac and Geneva Campbell, was born at Mt. Pleasant, Iowa, on July 22, 1881, and died at the Nuckolls County Hospital on Dec. 10, 1968. In 1908, she was united in marriage with Henry John Duwe, who preceded her in death in 1945. She was also preceded in death by her parents, and one son, John Blaine Duwe. She is survived by two sons, Robert of Seattle, Wash., and Max of Gering, Neb. The funeral services were held at the Megrue Funeral Home Friday, Dec. 13, with the Rev. Lloyd V. Mohnkern officiating. Interment was in Evergreen Cemetery. Superior Express, Thursday, unknown date
