Elsie Rose Koster was born December 9, 1926, in Breda, the daughter of A.J. and Elizabeth Schulte Wolterman. She was confirmed at St. Bernard;s Church in Breda. She was graduated from St. Bernard's High School in Breda. On January 27, 1938, she married Kermit Edward Koster at St. Bernard's Catholic Church in Breda. The couple lived on a farm near Breda and later moved to a farm south of Wall Lake before retiring in Lake View. Mrs. Koster was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church, and she was a member of the Lake View Garden Club. She enjoyed painting, reading,writing, flower gardening and playing cards.
