CHRISTY - McREYNOLDS Mrs. Elva Christy was married last Wednesday night to Mr. T.H. McReynolds by the Rev. Niblack of Floris, M.E Church. Mrs. McReynolds has lived in Floris the past 6 years and is the mother of Pres. H. W. Christy, of the Normal at Bloomfield, Everett Christy in school there and Hazel Christy who lives with her mother. Mr. McReynolds is a prosperous farmer who has lived in Floris for several years. He has one son, Ray, and three daughters, Nellie, Olive, and Gail, all at home. The Republican joins their many friends in wishing them much happiness. McReynolds Rites At Floris Sunday Mrs. T. H. McReynolds, 91, of Bloomfield, died Thursday at 6 PM at the Cameron nursing home. Born in Davis county, October 16, 1864, she was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. L. Fiedler. A great part of her life was spent in Kansas and Oklahoma. She returned to Iowa in 1910 and moved to Floris where she lived until four years ago when she moved Bloomfield. She was married in 1888 to G. M. Christy, who died in 1910. Her second marriage was in 1917 to T. H. McReynolds, who died in 1944. Surviving are two sons, Harry W. Christy of Lewiston, Idaho and Everett C. Christy of Ottumwa, Iowa; one daughter, Mrs. Hazel A. Fisk of Cedar Rapids; a brother, Chris C. Fiedler of Floris; stepson Ray McReynolds of Floris, and two stepdaughters, Mrs. Otto Hauschild of Washington, D. C., and Mrs. Gail Martin of Bloomfield. There are also seven grandchildren. Besides her husband's she was preceded in death by three brothers, two sisters and one stepdaughter, Olive McReynolds. Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at the Floris Christian Church in charge of the Rev. Ben Redmon of Bloomfield. Burial was in the I 0 0 F. Cemetery at Floris. The body was at the Curl Funeral Home.
