Description	:	Obituary from the "Ottumwa Courier," November 8, 1940: Mrs Elva Yeager, 56, wife of John Yeager, Agency, died at Ottumwa hospital Thursday at 10:30 p.m. She was the daughter of John and Mary McCaw and was born in Wapello County May 28, 1884. She had lived her entire life in this county, except for three years earlier in life. She had lived her entire life in this county, except for three years earlier in life. Surviving are her husband, John, at Agency; children, Donald Yeager of Agency, Mrs. Dorothy Turley of Hedrick route 1, and Raymond Yeager of Ottumwa; brother, Roy McCaw of Agency; sister, Mrs. Wyatt Walker of Ottumwa; half sister, Mrs. Jennie Eden of Burlington. She was preceded in death by her infant daughter. Services will be held Saturday at 1:30 p.m. at the home in Agency and at 2 p.m. in the Agency Methodist church, conducted by the Rev. Mr. Behrens of Moulton, assisted by the Rev. Mr. Wyatt of Agency. Burial will be in Round Point cemetery. Pallbearers will be Dan Johnson, Ambrose Leinhauser, Roy Black, Jerry Lanning, Dude Humble, and Ralph Van Zant. The body is at Johnson's funeral chapel where it will remain until Saturday at 9:30 a.m. when it will be taken to the Yeager home in Agency.
