Mrs. Dearmin was born in Stokes County to the late Arthur & Jessie Smith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Homer Dearmin; daughter, Christine Frye; grandsons, Roger Dean Cooke Jr., and Andrew Edwards; brother, Glen Smith and sister-in-law, June Smith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Homer Dearmin; daughter, Christine Frye; grandsons, Roger Dean Cooke Jr., and Andrew Edwards; brother, Glen Smith and sister-in-law, June Smith. Survivors include her son, Mark Dearmin (Becky); daughter, Kaye Taylor (Leon); grandsons, Bob Cooke, Homer Dearmin, Seth Dearmin, John Edwards & Mickey Edwards and many other relatives. Funeral service will be held at Francisco Presbyterian Church on Saturday, August 13, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. conducted by Rev. Rickey Rogers with interment to follow in the church cemetery. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Francisco Presbyterian Church Cemetery Fund, c/o Bob Cooke, 1719 Frans Road, Westfield, NC 27053 or to Boy Scouts of America Hanging Rock District, c/o William Gibson, 1121 Lakeview Drive, King, NC 27021.
