Description	:	BRADENTON, Fla. ~ Christine "Chris" Dearmin Edwards Frye of Bradenton, Fla., formerly of Pilot Mountain, passed away at her home on Saturday, Nov. 29, 2003. Born in Stokes County, she was the daughter of Homer W. and Elva S. Dearmin. She was employed for several years with Workmens Federal Savings & Loan and First Federal Savings & Loan before moving to Florida. At her death, she was employed with her husband by Frye Trucking Co. Survivors include her husband, Don Frye; three sons, Andy and Paula Edwards and their children Christopher and Austin, John and Laurel Edwards and their son... Read More	BRADENTON, Fla. ~ Christine "Chris" Dearmin Edwards Frye of Bradenton, Fla., formerly of Pilot Mountain, passed away at her home on Saturday, Nov. 29, 2003. Born in Stokes County, she was the daughter of Homer W. and Elva S. Dearmin. She was employed for several years with Workmens Federal Savings & Loan and First Federal Savings & Loan before moving to Florida. At her death, she was employed with her husband by Frye Trucking Co. Survivors include her husband, Don Frye; three sons, Andy and Paula Edwards and their children Christopher and Austin, John and Laurel Edwards and their son John Douglas and Mickey and Lisa Edwards and their children Caroline Jesse and Aaron; four stepdaughters, Lisa F. Salmon and family, Kathryn F. Lawson and family, Ashley F. Simerman and family and Rena F. Bledsoe and family; a sister, Kaye and Leon Taylor of Madison, Ind.; a brother, Mark and Becky Dearmin of Pinnacle; three nephews, Bob Cook, Homer Dearmin and Seth Dearmin; and many extended family members and loved friends. Her father and a brother preceded her in death. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 13 at the First Baptist Church in Pilot Mountain, officiated by the Rev. Bill Edwards and the Rev. Cecil Hill. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to First Baptist Church, P.O. Box 818, Pilot Mountain, NC 27041, or to the American Heart Association.
