Description	:	Elveria Leona Frieda Ludwig, 77, of Beemer died Friday, Sept. 22, 2000, at St. Francis Memorial Hospital in West Point. Elveria Abendroth was born Dec. 1, 1922, in West Point. She attended Cuming County Rural School and worked her way through high school as a nanny, at a grocery store and as an occasional secretary for the school. She was a 1942 graduate of West Point High School. She married Martin Ludwig April 26, 1946, at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in West Point. They lived on a farm northeast of Beemer until they moved to Wisner in 1965.... Read More	Elveria Leona Frieda Ludwig, 77, of Beemer died Friday, Sept. 22, 2000, at St. Francis Memorial Hospital in West Point. Elveria Abendroth was born Dec. 1, 1922, in West Point. She attended Cuming County Rural School and worked her way through high school as a nanny, at a grocery store and as an occasional secretary for the school. She was a 1942 graduate of West Point High School. She married Martin Ludwig April 26, 1946, at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in West Point. They lived on a farm northeast of Beemer until they moved to Wisner in 1965. She worked at Dairy Keen in Wisner and later provided childcare in her home. She worked as a housekeeper at Wisner Manor from 1970 until 1995. They moved to Beemer in February 1999. She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Wisner, Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary 5767 and Wisner Manorettes Extension Club. Survivors include: her husband; two daughters, Marlene Ludwig of Beemer and Lori (Mrs. Larry) Kisby of Fremont; two sons, Gerald (and wife, Mardelle) Ludwig of Omaha and Dave (and wife, Diane) Ludwig of Beemer; four sisters, Elaine (Mrs. Ray) Schmoldt of Beemer, Dorothy (Mrs. Willis) Gerwick of Scribner, Gladys Prokop of Pender and Shirley (Mrs. Lee) Schinck of Oakland; and four grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sons and a sister. The funeral will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. John's Lutheran Church in Beemer with the Vicar David List officiating. Visitation will be 3-8 today at Kuzelka Funeral Home in Beemer and will continue at 9 a.m. until service time at the church. Burial will be in Beemer Cemetery.
