Description	:	The funeral for Martin A. G. Ludwig, 83, of Beemer will be 10 a.m. Thursday at St. John's Lutheran Church in Beemer. He died Monday, Aug. 28, 2006, at Colonial Haven Nursing Home in Beemer. He was born Nov. 25, 1922, in rural Beemer to Theodore and Lulu (Borgelt) Ludwig. He attended Cuming County Rural School District 28. He helped his father on the family farm. He married Elveria Abendroth on April 26, 1946, in West Point. He was born Nov. 25, 1922, in rural Beemer to Theodore and Lulu (Borgelt) Ludwig. He attended Cuming County Rural School District 28. He helped his father on the family farm. He married Elveria Abendroth on April 26, 1946, in West Point. The couple was engaged in farming northeast of Beemer until moving to Wisner in 1966. He was employed by Borgelt Farms and Otto Schulz until retiring. They moved to Beemer in February 1999. He was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Beemer. Survivors include: two sons, Gerald (and wife, Mardelle) Ludwig of Omaha and David (and wife, Diane) Ludwig of Pilger; two daughters, Marlene Ludwig of Beemer and Lori (and husband, Larry) Kisby of Fremont; a sister, Gertie Pagels of Grand Island; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, two sons in infancy and two brothers. The Rev. David List will officiate Thursday's service. Visitation will be from 3-8 p.m. today at Kuzelka-Minnick Funeral Home in Beemer and will continue from 9 a.m. to service time Thursday at the church. Burial will be in Beemer Cemetery.
