She made her home in Presque Isle from 1942-1992 and was always self reliant. Earning a drivers license and having her own car gave her great satisfaction in her later years. She quietly enrolled in the Adult Education Program and was especially proud of having graduated from PIHS on 6-8-1979 at age 65. She had been a member of Lunar Chapter No.126 Order of Eastern Star for 22 years and served as warder for 15 years. She was also a life member of the Ladies Auxiliary of Hayward Frazier Post No.2599 VFW and a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of Smart Ricker Post No.10 DAV. She is survived by 4 children, EArland Norsworthy of Hebron, CT., Mrs. Carroll (Gloria) Knox of Caribou, Marilyn Weisel of Scottsdale, PA. and Terry Norsworthy of Oklahawa, FLA. She was predeceased by her eldest son Warren Norsworthy Jr. of Worcester, MA. in 1953. Also surviving are 6 grandchildren, Kathleen (Norsworthy) Cafazzo of Coventry, CT., Susan (Knox) Chase of Westbrook, Debra (Knox) Beaumier of Pittsfield, Lisa (Knox) Marsh of South Portland, Gregory Knox of Bangor and Dennis Weisel of Fredericksburg, VA., 7 great grandchildren, Daven Cafazzo, Tyler and Evan Chase, Benjamin and Rebekah Beaumier, Deirdre Marsh and Stefini Weisel, a special niece, Mrs. Constance Archer of Presque Isle, several other nieces and nephews, 3 brothers, Arthur and Elwood Ryder, both of Mapleton and Richard Ryder of Marlborough, MA., 2 sisters, Mrs. Ernest (Fannie) Goding of Mapleton and Mrs. Arthur (Maria) Chandler of Houtzdale, PA. Burial Fairmount cemetery.
