Read More	Rough translation from Czech Language Newspaper Published in Omaha, Nebraska: Pokrok Západu [Progress of the West] Věnovaný Zájmúm Našeho Ceskěho Lidu va Americe [Dedicated to the Interest of Our Czech People in America] dne 15 Zarí 1915 [on 15 September 1915] Death in Czech Circles In the household of the esteemed local couple Mr. Karel Fryzek, where family happiness, love and joyful moments at home, today deep sadness spread, because the cold hand of relentless fate took away their unexpected beloved eldest son Emil, in whom they composed so much. Emil on Saturday, 11th September in the afternoon, was watching the game of swords (Fencing??) and around 5 o'clock in the best mood he came home and read the newspaper on the front door, then a few minutes after at 6 o'clock he went upstairs to the bathroom to take a bath and it was after he was still alive. His mother, Mrs. Josefka Frýzoková, also intended to bathe her other children, called on him not to stay in the bathroom for too long, and he answered her in that sense. But when it was half past six, Mrs. Frýzková called Emil again, but this time she didn't get an answer. So she went upstairs, and when she entered the bathroom, she had a terrible sight — the beloved son's body lay helplessly on the floor beside the bathtub. In a powerful moment and horrified by the unfortunate suspicion, the mother stepped closer and found that Emil was not breathing anymore. To her soulful lament, Mr. Frýzek was not at home at the time, the neighbors came and a doctor was called, but he could do nothing but state the death. Later, the undertaker, Mr. Josef Krejci, transported the body to his morgue, where he performed an autopsy, during which it was found that the unfortunate young man in the heart had lost blood and thus his circulation was interrupted. Emil Frysek was born here in Omaha and at the end of his death he was about 16 years and 3 months old. He attended school for the second year and was a member of the Czech Youth Educational Club. He was a very good young man, obedient and gifted - his parents had funerals for him yesterday, on Tuesday afternoon, with mourning at home, and burial in the Czech-National Cemetery. The turnout attendance was large. The carrier coffins [pallbearers] were members of the Club of the Czech Youth, who will also come and say goodbye to their friends. The removal of a beloved son and brother is bitter by parents, 6-year-old sister Lilly, brother Karlík 7 years, to whom we show our sincere condolences! (Note: This is a quite rough translation - the old newspapers as this have blurred letters, and with old Czech inflections meanings can change to quite different meanings. I did my best.
