Description	:	Emil Geisler, 59, Dies At Home Near Creighton Emil Geisler, 59, died unexpectedly Saturday, Feb. 24 at his farm home southeast of Creighton following a heart attack. Funeral services were conducted Monday afternoon at the Methodist Church in Creighton with the Rev. David Gustafson, pastor, officiating. Burial was in Greenwood Cemetery, pallbearers were Francis Andersen, Wm. Jenkinson, Virgil Larson, Gerald Sebade, Orville Snodgrass and Leonard Wortman. Emil Frederick Geisler was born Nov. 20, 1902 at Wisner, a son of Frank and Augusta Geisler. He received his early education in rural schools of the Wisner area. He married Edna Hubbard on April 30, 1927 at Yankton, S.D. Four children were born to them. Mr. Geisler had been a resident of the Creighton community the past 18 years, farming all that time. He came here from Norfolk where he was employed after leaving Wisner. He was a member of the Creighton Methodist Church. He is survived by his wife and four children, Mrs. Willis (Irene) Sanders of O'Neill, Phyllis and Robert , living at home and Sharon, a student at the University of Nebraska at Lincoln. Phyllis teaches in the Creighton Public Schools. also surviving are three grandchildren. Among those from out of town attending the services were Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Hubbard of Hadar, Mr. and Mrs. Earl Hubbard of Stanton, Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Kahlof, Louis Weigel and Hugo Weigel of Norfolk, Harvey Schultz and Helmut Kent of Wisner, LeRoy Peterson of Pilger, Mrs. Raleigh Korb and Terry of Indianola and Don Hubbard of Mission Hill, S.D.
