Description	:	On Feb. 16, 2010, Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, took Emil to live eternal life with him in heaven. Emil was born on Feb. 7, 1926, in Emblem, Wyo., the sixth child to Lewin L. Kober and Amalia Lehman Kober. He was baptized as an infant in the name of the Tribune God and publicly confessed the Christian faith when he was confirmed on March 15, 1992. Read More	On Feb. 16, 2010, Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, took Emil to live eternal life with him in heaven. Emil was born on Feb. 7, 1926, in Emblem, Wyo., the sixth child to Lewin L. Kober and Amalia Lehman Kober. He was baptized as an infant in the name of the Tribune God and publicly confessed the Christian faith when he was confirmed on March 15, 1992. He worked with his parents and siblings on various farms around the Billings area, retiring along with his parents when they moved into Billings in 1950. To keep busy "in town" he and his father kept many yards around town mowed and manicured. Emil loved to walk around his neighborhood and beyond, making many friends along the way. As he grew older, his walks became shorter, mostly to the West Park Plaza, just to sit, watch, and talk with people. As Emil's health deteriorated, he moved to Tender Nest Assistant Living and then to St. John's Lutheran Home. He enjoyed living at both places. Emil was preceded in death by his parents, and five siblings, Richard, Walter, Arnold, Lydia Kober and Polly Trapp. He is survived by his brothers, Albert (Betty) Kober and Sol (Karol) Kober; sisters, Elizabeth Hoehner, Dorothy Morris, Olga Fox, Emma Kennedy, Alberta Hofferber, Lillian Leikam, Eleanor (Gary) Zeiler; and sister-in-law, Marge Kober. At this time, Emil's family would like to thank the wonderful medical staff and other coworkers at St. John's for the excellent care they provided for Emil, also Pastors Rinderknect and Richhold for their spiritual guidance and last but not least, to Marilyn and Buck (the dog), for your comforting words and visits. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Trinity Lutheran Church Dept. Fund or charity of one's choice. Casket will be open one hour before start of funeral service. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Friday, Feb. 19, at Trinity Lutheran Church. Interment will follow reception at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are by Cremation & Funeral Gallery.
