Mr. Kubicek was a member of St. Andrew's Catholic church. He is survived by his wife, one son, David; six brothers John jr., Alouis and Edward of Columbus, Carl of Glendora, Calif., Joseph and William of Shelby; and four sisters, Mrs. Leo (Mary) Glatter and Mrs. Herman (Rose) Gable of Shelby, Mrs. James (Helen) Alt of Columbus and Mrs. Marvin (Lillian) Dawes of Osceola. Kubicek Services—Funeral services for Emil Kubicek, 54 who died Monday in a local hospital, were held at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Andrew's church in Polk county. The Rev. G.R. Stoeckinger officiated, and burial was in the Sacred Heart cemetery at Shelby. Pallbearers were Kenneth Kubicek, Jerome Gabel, Gary Glatter, Alvin Haesacker, Dennis Kubicek and Rodney James, all nephews of the deceased. Relatives and friends attended from Hastings, Eddyville, York, Shelby, Osceola, Humphrey, Cedar Bluffs, Stromsburg, Morse Bluff, Brainard, Bruno, Fairfield, Omaha and Columbus.
