Hussman officiating. Death was caused by a heart attack Thursday morning August 13, 1959. Mr. Vokoun was the son of Joseph and Agnes Vokoun and was born June 7, 1900 on the farm on which, he lived until his death. He was 59. On November 24, 1926 he was united in marriage to Blanche Nekola, and they became the parents of four children. Survivors include his wife, three daughters, Mrs. Charles (Irene) Nekola, Dysart, Gladys of Traer and Mrs. Leonard (Evelyn) Benesh of Chelsea and a son, Manson at home; two grandchildren., Neal Benesh and Carol Nekola. There are two brothers, Joe of Traer and Jim of Elberon and one sister, Mrs. Mary Hanus of Clutier. Other survivors include many nieces and nephews. Pallbearers were Phillip Hanus, Donald Vokoun, William Kopecky, Joseph Hanus, Edward Vokoun and Carl Luze. In charge of mass cards were Mrs. Lawrence Cibula and Mrs. George Dunning. Interment was in Stayskal's cemetery near Vining.
