Read More	The death of Mrs. Harry Collier marks the. passing of another of the Beaver Crossing’s well loved and highly respected older citizens, she came to this community when a girl 15 yrs. of age and has lived here ever since. She and her husband lived on the farm southeast of Beaver Crossing until several years ago when they retired and made their home in Beaver Crossing. During the last number of years her health gradually failed and several weeks ago she was taken to the hospital in Seward for treatment. All efforts to restore her to health seemed void and death occurred on Friday morning of last week. Following is her obituary: Emliy Francis Bondurant was born in Bethany, Mo: on Jan. 1, 1871 and died on November 18, 1938 at the age of 67 years. On February 24, 1892 she was united in marriage to Harry W. Collier and the young couple settled on their farm 2 1/2 miles southeast of Beaver Crossing. About 4 years ago they retired from the farm moving to Beaver Crossing where they lived up to the time of her death. She was converted in her youth and in 1894 united with the Evangelical Church of Beaver Crossing of which she remained an active and faithful member until her death. She was never missing at the Sunday services and mid-week prayer meeting as long as her health permitted. She was an active member and worker in the Women’s Missionary Society and the Woman’s Christian Temperance Union and will or keenly missed in these organizations, her home and among her friends. Her consistent Christian life was an inspiration to everyone with whom she came in contact. Surviving are: her husband; three daughters, Mrs. Marie Titlan of Deshler, Nebr., Mrs., Pearl Meyer, of Beaver Crossing, Neb., and Mrs. Leta Eckhard of Seward, Nebr. two sons: Orie of Beaver Crossing, Nebr., and Roy of Kalamazoo, Mich., five grandchildren and a host of friends. The funeral service was held at the Evangelical Church Sunday afternoon November 20, Rev. Walter Lenz officiating and burial in the Beaver Crossing cemetery. People attending the funeral from out of town were Chas. P. Collier Kansas City, Kans.; Mrs. Frank Behn and family of Kearney, Neb., Mir. and Mrs. Frank Vorhees of Friend, Neb.; Mrs. Bulwan, Lincoln, Nebr.; Mr. and Mrs. Fred Heckman, Friend, Nebr., Mr. C Eckhard, Friend, Nebr.; Mr. and Mrs. Munro Furtwangler and family, Seward, Nebr., Mr. and Mrs. N. Nelson, Tamora, Nebr., Mr. and Mrs. Will Rohren, Tamora, Nebr., Mr. and Mrs. W. O. Kinnaman and family, Tamora Nebr.
