Hansen, was born on October 23, 1903, at Tekamah, Nebr. and departed this life after a severe and extended illness on July 10, 1929, at Omaha (unreadable) 25 years, 6 months and 47 days of age. She leaves to mourn her passing her mother Mrs. W. F. Hansen of Tekamah, her husband, Hugh Decker of Omaha, two children. Hansen, was born on October 23, 1903, at Tekamah, Nebr. and departed this life after a severe and extended illness on July 10, 1929, at Omaha (unreadable) 25 years, 6 months and 47 days of age. She leaves to mourn her passing her mother Mrs. W. F. Hansen of Tekamah, her husband, Hugh Decker of Omaha, two children. (unreadable and Geraldine; two brothers, Otto Haswell of Graham, Montana, and Lee Haswell of Cedar Creek, Neb., and one sister, Mrs. Irene Somberk, of Omaha, Nebraska; also four half-brothers and two half-sisters, in Tekamah. One child, Hugh Junior, preceded her in death. Emily had suffered for some time with a serious illness, first in Tekamah, at the home of her mother then in Omaha, after an operation at the hospital, from which she seemed to be recovering, when suddenly the end came as a distinct shock to her loved ones. Burial services were held from the Lutheran Church in Tekamah on July 13, Rev. L. H. Steinhour officating. The remains were laid in the Tekamah cemetery."
