November 2, 1982 ******** Alton Democrat; May 15, 1942 Burial services for Mrs. Jake Henrich of Bridgewater, South Dakota, were held Monday at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Alton, where she was buried at the side of her husband. Mrs. Henrich, nee Emily McAndrew, formerly of Vale, Iowa, died Friday at the Parkston Hospital. She was taken ill while spending the winter at Olympia, Washington, with a daughter and upon returning home entered the hospital. Her husband, well known manager of the F.M. Slagle Company Lumber Yard at Bridgewater, passed away on April 23, 1941, at the age of 63. She is survived by three children, Dr. Melvin Henrich of Riverton, Wyoming, Anna (Mrs. J.B. Dolezel) of Olympia, Washington, and Frances, (Mrs. W.F. Bolinger) of Parkston, South Dakota. Services were held at the Catholic Church in Bridgewater preceding interment at Alton.
