Description	:	Emma K. Montgomery was born in Allen County, Ohio to Thomas and Iva (Miller) Flory on June 22, 1924. She died peacefully on the morning of May 4, 2018, at the age of 93 years, 11 months, and 18 days. Emma attended Gomer High School, married J. Cabel Montgomery on August 12, 1941, and they raised three children near Elida, Ohio. Emma was a member of the Old German Baptist Brethren Church. Montgomery was born in Allen County, Ohio to Thomas and Iva (Miller) Flory on June 22, 1924. She died peacefully on the morning of May 4, 2018, at the age of 93 years, 11 months, and 18 days. Emma attended Gomer High School, married J. Cabel Montgomery on August 12, 1941, and they raised three children near Elida, Ohio. Emma was a member of the Old German Baptist Brethren Church. Emma is survived by one daughter, Erma Jean Wolf and her husband, Bill; two sons, Wendell; and Randy and his wife, Jan; her sister, Betty Fisher; in-laws, Mary Jane Flory; Lois and Joseph Denlinger and Virgil Jamison; and many nieces and nephews. She leaves to remember her, 12 grandchildren, 3 step-grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren, 16 step-great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild, and 2 step-great-great-grandchildren. Emma truly was the best grandma; all of her grandchildren have a story of her energy, wit, and resourcefulness. In addition to her husband Cabel, she was preceded in death by her parents, father, mother and step-mother-in-law; two brothers, Lester, his wife, Velma Flory, and Howard Flory; brother-in-law, Dale Fisher, and Cabel's family, Annie and Ezra Bowman, Ruth and Denton Peters, Bertha Montgomery, Roy and Velma Montgomery, Clyde and Louise Montgomery, Esther Jamison, Joseph and Janie Montgomery, Daniel and Annie Montgomery, and Rachel and Lewis Beckner, Funeral services will begin at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, May 8, 2018, at The Old German Baptist Brethren Church, Ash Grove Meeting House. Burial will follow in Ash Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3:00 - 5:00 and 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Monday, May 7, at CHILES - LAMAN FUNERAL AND CREMATION SERVICES, SHAWNEE CHAPEL.
