Born in Ohio, May 9, 1863, she was the daughter of Samuel and Hester Clapp Clark. She has lived in Ottumwa the past 47 years. She was a member of the First Church of Christ Scientist. She is survived by four sons, Ollie Grear, Oscar Grear, William Grear and Finess Grear, all of Ottumwa; one daughter, Mrs. Myrtle Jensen of Indianapolis, Ind.; 21 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Mary Wakefield and Mrs. Nettie Wilbanks, both of St. Joseph, Mo., and Mrs. Florence Teeters of Santa Ana, Calif.; and one brother, Walter Clark of Bloomington, Calif. Funeral services will be held at the Johnson funeral chapel at 3 p.m. Tuesday, with Mrs. Ray Davis, member of the First Church of Christ Scientist, in charge. Burial will be in the Shaul cemetery. The casket will be taken to the home of her son, Oscar Grear, late this afternoon abd will be returned to the Johnson funeral chapel on Tuesday morning.
