Description	:	Elba, Neb., Feb. 7 (Special)--Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon for Mrs. Joe Stenecker (sic) of Grand Island at the home of a brother, Fred Hansen, Elba, at 12:30 p.m. and at the United Brethren church of Elba at 1:30 with Rev. A. J. Springston in charge. Interment was made in the Elba cemetery south of town. Emma Hansen, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Nels Hansen, was born at Elba, Sept. 13, 1886, and passed away in Grand Island, Feb. 3, 1936, at the age of 40 years, 4 months and 20 days. She was married to Joseph Stenecker on Mar. 30, 1910, and to their union three children were born, all now married, Mrs. Mable Layher, Howard and Mrs. Mildred Johnson. The family resided two years in North Loup, one year in Dannevirke, and twenty-two years on their farm east of Elba. They spent the greater part of last year in Missouri, returning in October to make their home in Nebraska. Only recently, they moved to Grand Island. Surviving, besides the husband and children are two grandchildren, her mother, Mrs. Nels Hansen of Grand Island, three brothers, Hans, Peter and Fred, of Grand Island and three sisters, Mrs. Paul Mortensen of Cotesfield, Mrs. Chris Leth of Grand Island, and Mrs. Pete Nielsen of Elba.
