North Manchester News Journal (Indiana) Feb. 24, 1930 Kathleene Randol Dies. Emma Kathleene Randol died Sunday about one o'clock at the home of her foster parents, J.W. Sisk and wife on North Washington street. She had been ill for sixteen months from tuberculosis, and for the last few weeks her condition had been quite critical. Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon at the house, conducted by Rev. R.C. Plank and burial will be in Oaklawn cemetery. She was the daughter of William Randol and wife, and was born sixteen years ago on the the 6th of last September. Her mother died when she was about seven months old, and she was taken into the Sisk home, Mrs. Sisk being a sister of her father. There she was treated as a daughter. Before her illness she displayed marked musical ability, and often played her violin before audiences at the Methodist church, and at other gatherings. She is survived by her father, William Randol, two sisters, Mrs. Nellie King and Mrs. Marguerite Devoe, the latter of Anderson, and one brother, James Randol, employed as a tree surgeon by a firm of Kent, Ohio, but who is now working some place in Georgia.
