Read More	Funeral services for Mrs. Myra Shellenbarger were held at the Megrue Funeral Home last Thursday afternoon, Dec. l8. She died last Sunday at the Webster County Hospital in Red Cloud. The obituary: Emma Myra Shellenbarger, the middle daughter of five girls in a family of 11 children, outlived all of her brothers and sisters and attained the age of 89 years, 9 months and 21 days at the time of her death on Sunday, Dec. 14. She was born on a farm near Humboldt Neb., in Richardson County. Her parents were John David and Catherine Shrauger. She was a graduate from the Humboldt High School with the class of 1898. She taught school for six years and attended the Peru State College. At her parents home in Humbolt on April 9, 1905, she was united in marriage to Harry B. Shellenbarger of Stella, Neb. Their only child is Mrs. Lester L. Schwass (Pauline). They made their home on a farm near Stamford, Neb., with a special interest in purebred livestock. In 1946, they moved to Omaha and in the early 50's they came to Superior to make their home. Mrs. Shellenbarger became a Christian when a young girl. She was a deeply religious woman. She taught a Sunday school class for many years and worked in the missionary society. Her church membership at the time of her death was in the United Methodist Church of this city. She leaves to mourn her daughter, Mrs. Lester Schwass, and Mr. Schwass nieces and nephews. Rev. Lloyd V. Mohnkern officiated at the service and burial was in Evergreen Cemetery.
